Allen B Johnson Sr. of Atlanta passed Sept.  11.  Memorial Services will be held October 4, 2024 at 9:30am. at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton GA.  Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence at 8am. Allen B. Johnson, Sr.

Allen B. Johnson, Sr. passed away on September 11, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, determination, and wisdom. He is survived by his devoted mother, Dora M. Johnson, and was predeceased by his father, Abe Johnson, Jr.

Allen will forever be remembered by his siblings: Vivian Dexter, Abe Johnson III (Celestine), Nancy Barfield (Tim), Lillian Smith (Lynwood), and Juanita Jordan (Robert). His children—Landrey Johnson (Kasema), Allen B. Johnson, Jr., along with their mother Bobbie Brinson, and Allen Ashley Johnson, along with her mother Jeannie Ashley—will carry forward his vibrant spirit. Allen was a proud grandfather to Ausjané Tucker, Hillary Hollis McMath (LaDarreon), and Wisdom Johnson. He was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Aldin Knowlton and Saudi McMath, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished companions.

Born and raised in Fort Meade, Florida, Allen’s journey took him to Atlanta, Georgia, after attending the University of Tampa and Albany State College. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas, for six years before returning to Florida. There, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from Bethune-Cookman College, where he also played football. Driven by his passion for law and justice, Allen moved to Atlanta to pursue his Juris Doctorate in Sport & Entertainment Law at Atlanta Law School.

Allen’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to a diverse career in sports representation, legal consulting, and commercial transportation. He was known for generously sharing his wisdom and experience with those he loved, offering unwavering support, encouragement, and believing in the potential of others. His impact is measured by the countless doors of opportunity he helped open for many.

Allen’s legacy lives on through the lives he touched, his enduring accomplishments, and the values he instilled in all who were fortunate enough to know him. His love, wisdom, and belief in others will forever be remembered and cherished. Rw Andrews Mortuary, Eastpoint
