With deepest sympathy to Roy ,Allyson, Berry and grandchildren,
Roy, Dorothy fell in love with you at first sight, we practiced on how she should approach you, to get to know you. We thought inviting you to her social club dance was a good choice. She loved you and her family with all of her heart. Dorthy was a good friend and will be truly missed.
With Love Deloris & Family

Dorothy, we met and instantly became friends. We lived on the same street; we became members of The Selective Few Social Club. Our group traveled to Lake Tahoe wearing our green shorts and striped tops and everyone on the airplane wanted to know if we were a singing group. We said Yes! LOL. You were a babysitter for my second child; he’s soon to be 45. You made curtains for my kitchen. You married and moved to Atlanta and we never lost touch. I moved to New Jersey and Arizona and we never lost touch. You were my Matron of Honor at my marriage almost ten years ago. I have a lifetime of memories that will stay with me forever. I will miss your presence and our telephone calls. How do you close out years of being friends? You don't. Dorothy, rest in the arms of our Heavenly Father until we meet again. Your children and grandchildren were blessed to have you as their mother and grandmother. Roy, Dorothy wanted nothing more than to be your wife. She delighted in having your cakes and lemonade ready for you when you came home. Roy, you were truly, truly a wonderful husband. I will always thank you for loving her and being by her side until the end.

Words cannot express my sadness of the passing of my good friend, Dorothy. I will miss our conversations and your annual visits to Arizona. I am comforted that you are no longer suffering and gone on to be with the Lord. So Roy, Allyson and Barry, grandchildren and all love ones, please celebrate this day as her life is truly worth celebrating. She was such a classy lady, we were blessed to have her as a friend, a very positive addition to our lives. We all thank God for you Roy, what a blessing you were to her and all of us, always uplifting.

Love forever,
Charlotte
